IPPH Faculty Position

The University of Chicago’s Biological Science Division (BSD) seeks tenured or tenure-track faculty members at any rank who are pursuing research on precision health and related areas to join the Institute for Population and Precision Health.

The appointee will join an appropriate BSD department to carry out research in precision health within a broader population health framework. Areas of interests include (but are not limited to) clinical, genetic, and environmental health research and epidemiology with a focus on quantitative precision health methods including predictive analytics, machine learning/artificial intelligence, biostatistics, digital health, or imaging-/biomarker-based risk estimations. Appointees should thrive in a collaborative environment and actively seek out colleagues across the BSD and other divisions and schools within the University. Appointees are expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level.
